The full code
Partners work as individuals, under their own name, and never as IntroHarbor. These rules set the standard for any opportunity we accept.
Work as an individual, under your own name
- You join and work as an individual. People from an agency or team join in their own name, not as a team.
- You choose how you work, and you don't represent IntroHarbor or act for it.
- Contact prospects under your own name. Never use IntroHarbor's name, logo or brand in your outreach, and never say you work for or represent IntroHarbor.
- Never claim to work for, or be, the buyer or any client company.
- Never invent projects, referrals, urgency or relationships.
You're responsible for lawful sourcing
- You're responsible for making sure your outreach and data collection follow the law where you and the prospect are.
- The rules below are the baseline for any opportunity we accept. We check them, and we reject anything that falls short.
Prospects must agree to be introduced
- Only submit prospects who clearly agreed to be introduced and to have their business contact details shared with one vetted company. Tell them they'll be contacted to confirm the details.
- Record when and how consent was given. Pressure, tricks or pre-ticked agreements don't count.
- If the prospect hesitates or says no, stop. Don't submit them.
Use clean data only
- No bought, rented, shared or scraped contact lists, and no harvested email addresses.
- Use business contact details only. Don't collect sensitive data (health, religion, politics, financial account details) or anything about children.
- Declare the source and channel of every opportunity you submit.
- Keep prospect data secure and delete it when the prospect asks.
Email rules
- Send from an accurate name and address, with a truthful subject line.
- Include a working way to opt out and the sender details the law requires in the prospect's country. Honour opt-outs immediately, and never later than 10 business days.
- Respect country rules: CAN-SPAM in the USA, UK GDPR and PECR in the UK (sole traders and some partnerships need prior consent for marketing email) and the Spam Act in Australia.
- Never send email from an IntroHarbor domain or address, or put IntroHarbor's name in a sender name, subject line or signature.
Phone rules
- Dial manually and speak as yourself. No autodialled, prerecorded or AI-voice cold calls.
- Check national and internal do-not-call lists where they apply, and call during reasonable local business hours.
- If you record calls, say so at the start and follow local recording laws. Keep recordings for 2 years, then delete them.
- End the call politely the moment someone asks you to stop.
LinkedIn and social
- Follow each platform's user agreement. No automation that breaks it.
- Use your real profile. No fake personas or impersonation.
- No misleading WhatsApp or message blasts.
Play fair
- Submit each opportunity only to IntroHarbor, and never submit the same person twice or through another partner.
- Don't contact introduced buyers or prospects to do business around us.
- Don't offer prospects money or gifts to take a call, and never offer bribes or kickbacks.
- Keep your terms with us and the briefs confidential.
Report problems fast
- Tell us within 24 hours about complaints, data incidents or a mistake in a submitted opportunity at partners@introharbor.com.
If the code is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may reject the opportunity, suspend you or end the partnership. We report illegal activity where we're required to. Questions? partners@introharbor.com
